Update Report and Future Plans

Update Report

Thank you for playing S.O.L School Of Labyrinth. We have read every report and request since launch.

On timing: the dates below are estimates and subject to change. We release only after confirming that a fix does not cause new problems.

v1.0.16 — Fixed on Aug 14 (live now)

We sincerely apologise for the display issue where the club chosen during character creation was not applied — it affects an important choice right at the entrance to the game.

  1. Fixed the issue where the club chosen during character creation was not applied
  2. Fixed the issue where assigning staff to campus facilities had no effect
  3. Corrected the description of how capsule coins are obtained

We would also like to share our plans for upcoming updates.

v1.1.0 — Controls and UI (expected in August, currently in testing)

We are working through the areas where we received the most feedback about the game being hard to play.

  • Equipment that could not be sold can now be sold (uniforms, bamboo swords, and others that previously could only be discarded)
  • Battle speed can now be set to 2x or 3x (during AUTO battles only)
  • AUTO can now be cancelled with the controller's cancel button
  • Buffs and debuffs on your party are now shown as icons
  • The gamepad cursor can now be clicked with the confirm button (previously the trigger only)
  • Fixed the layout of the base menu
  • Fixed tooltips covering text when they were not needed
  • Quest rewards, item use, and party changes are now reflected on screen immediately
  • The revive button now explains why it cannot be used when you lack funds
  • "Equipment" on the party screen has been renamed to "Gear & Skills"

Under consideration (no date yet — we hope to complete these between August and September)

  • Sorting for inventory and storage, and an item lock function
  • Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud saves
  • Dungeon structure and story pacing
  • Additional supported languages

Please keep sending your reports and requests to the Steam Community. We read all of them and consider them carefully as we work to make the game a better experience. Thank you for your continued support.
