The October Update — Now Testing on the Beta Branch
The latest Happy Endings build is playable right now on the Steam beta branch. We’re testing expanded body-size support in scenes, lower memory use and smoother performance, alongside the creative tools and customization added since launch.
We’d love your help testing it before the next public release.
What’s in this build
EXPANDED BODY SIZES IN SCENES — small and big bust artwork now covers many more service scenes, with additional fixes for animation outlines, overlaps and small gaps in the artwork.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS — scene rendering uses substantially less graphics memory, and autosaving does less work when you have a large collection of custom outfits or scenes. Background play, interface updates and leaderboard syncing have also been made more efficient.
SCENE BUILDER & SCENE MARKET — use the GLAMOUR KIT to remix learned service scenes in a pixel editor. Edit the background, customer and performer separately, adjust animation speed and framing, then share your creations or download scenes made by other players.
EXPANDED WARDROBE — 13 outfits added since launch include Star Princess, French Maid, Goth, Shrine Maiden, Knight Armor, Panda and Pop Idol, with every new outfit supporting all three body fits. Bunny Specs and the Panda Hat expand your headwear choices.
MORE HAIRSTYLES — Twin Braids and Space Buns join the salon, with fitted hairstyle artwork throughout the service scene catalogue.
HALLOWEEN WARDROBE — add six seasonal designs from the Community Wardrobe: Ghost Bride, Harvest Scarecrow, Midnight Witch, Pumpkin Spell, Skeleton Masquerade and Vampire Countess.
OUTFIT WORKSHOP IMPROVEMENTS — keep as many custom creations as you like. Custom outfits automatically follow the wearer’s chosen outfit color, and Community Wardrobe browsing now lets you reach every published design.
STEAM CLOUD SAVES — take your parlor between PCs through your Steam account. Each machine keeps a local recovery copy, and save selection prioritizes progression to protect your established parlor.
GAMEPLAY CHANGES — Rush Hour happens randomly, with the manual Happy Hour control retired. Golden Invitation has been removed with its Legacy Points refunded, while Aurelia’s R7 Golden Contract guarantee remains available.
POLISH & STABILITY — cleaner backgrounds, corrected leaderboard tracking across PCs, fixes for stuck massage sessions and customer colors, improved Desktop Receptionist behavior, and more reliable achievement syncing and save handling.
