Hello, Shopkeepers!
Welcome to Update 1.7.0! We are back with another round of new features, quality-of-life improvements, and important bug fixes to make your adventure smoother and more exciting.
Here is what's new in Version 1.7.0:
- Weapon Hot-Swapping: Do you like carrying a shield in your left hand, but also enjoy alternating between ranged and close-quarters combat? This feature is for you! You can now quickly swap weapons on the fly to adapt to any combat situation.
- Minimap Enemy Tracking: Enemies are now visible on the minimap! You will no longer struggle to locate foes hiding behind walls, obstacles, or corners.
- Armor Diminishing Returns: We have introduced diminishing returns for armor. The new damage multiplier formula is: Damage Multiplier = 60 / (Armor Value + 60).
- Armor Breakdown in UI: Armor value is now clearly displayed in the UI right below your equipment, showing you exactly how much real damage you are blocking.
- Completed Quests Tab: Added a "Completed" tab to the Questboard! If you ever feel nostalgic and want to review everything you have achieved so far, now you can.
- Main Menu Exit Confirmation: Added a confirmation prompt when exiting to the main menu—no more accidentally leaving the game with a misclick!
Balancing & Bug Fixes:
- Forest Goblins Pathfinding: Goblins in the forest biome should no longer trip over logs thrown in their path!
- Vampiric Aura Fix: Fixed Vampiric Aura so that it now correctly registers hits and properly heals the player.
- Quick Slot Duplication Exploit: Fixed an exploit that allowed players to duplicate items using quick slots.
- Questboard Interaction Fix: Fixed an issue where the Questboard would not display quests properly when interacting with it.
- Save Deletion Fix: The trash bin icon now works properly when deleting save files.
- Dungeon Teleportation Tweak: Improved player teleportation out of dungeons. Teleport time has been reduced; players can now attack while teleporting, and taking damage will cancel the teleport, allowing you to defend yourself against incoming enemies.
- Equipment Drop Rates: Slightly reduced weapon and armor drop rates in the Overgrown and Darkest Dungeon biomes.
- Leather Drop Sources: Leather now drops from a wider variety of destructible objects in dungeons.
Thank you all for your continued support, suggestions, and feedback!
Happy selling, and see you in the dungeons!
