Dice Tavern — September 30 Version 0.9.5 Update

Dear Guests,

A fresh batch of new content has arrived at the Tavern!

This update adds 39 brand-new items and 8 rule and balance changes. The Coachman and Miller routes are now available in the Tavern. There are plenty of new ways to play waiting for you to try. Let’s take a look at what’s new!

5 New Dice

All five Dice are part of the Coachman and Miller routes.

11 New Synergies

All 11 belong to the Coachman and Miller routes. Cheating and Passengers are the core mechanics of these routes, with several Synergies built around them.

22 New Badges

These Badges are mainly built around core game systems such as Badge Slots, Gold, and Reputation.

8 Changes

1. Quick Clear Bonus Rules

Round changes caused by item effects no longer count toward Quick Clear Bonus. Added rounds do not count, while reduced rounds are restored to their original amount for Quick Clear calculations. This affects Hourglass, Indenture, Hourglass Shard, Traveler's Skill, Old King's Skill, and Gambler's Skill.

System and event effects, such as +1 round from Reputation Tier 5, the Roadside Merchant's round penalty, and the Curfew Decree, are unaffected and will still count toward Quick Clear calculations.

2. Starting Character Dice Can No Longer Be Sold

The Knight's starting Knight Die and the Old King's starting Heaven Die can no longer be sold.

3. Scrap Dealer Intercept Effect Adjusted

When locking 2/4 during a Score & Reroll, in addition to resetting the bank multiplier, the Reroll will now only calculate base points and coating bonus points. All other bonus effects, including bonus points, multipliers, gold, and Hot Dice rewards, will not trigger. Previously, this effect was described as:

“Skip Combo / Hot Dice / Gilded and multiplier-based Synergies.”

4. Three Opponent Debuffs Adjusted

The previous ''Ones Sealed'' and ''Fives Sealed'' mechanics have been removed from the Tavern following these changes. We hope the new mechanics will make for a better gameplay experience.

5. Extra Difficulty-Based Combat Rewards Removed

Some opponents previously granted additional combat rewards based on their special Debuffs. As these mechanics continue to evolve, we have reevaluated the relationship between overall difficulty and rewards. This update removes these additional rewards across the board:

Fortune Teller −90G, Young Noble−130G, Quartermaster −150G, Duke's Aide −150G, Royal Guard −190G. Base rewards remain unchanged.

6. Gilded Sticker Adjustment

Several items with independent multipliers and gold-gain effects have been added. For balance, the Gilded effect has been adjusted: Bank multiplier +10% →+5%, Gold 10 →5.

7. Victory Seal Added to the Synergy Codex

After winning a battle with a Synergy, a seal will appear in the top-right corner of its card, making it easier to track your Synergy victory progress.

8. Other Balance Changes

Magnet Board’s first appearance in the Tavern: Town → Village; Quartermaster battle rounds: 12 → 10 rounds

🎲 New Routes, New ways to play, A New Round of High-Stakes Gambling
