Signet City: Observing the City

Welcome back, residents.

This month, Gareth continues to explore the inspirations behind Signet City, this time showing various visual influences that have inspired them. The photo above is of Gareth's studio mood board for Signet City, with various visual inspirations and references for the world of the game. These references are split into two key textures: ink and grain.

For grain, Gareth talks about inspirations such as Tetsuo: The Iron Man by Shinya Tsukamoto and the street photography of Daido Moriyama, while ink includes references such as Cages by Dave McKean and Abara by Tsutomu Nihei.
