Update Notes

Impact Feel and Combat

Impact feel completely overhauled: new sounds for weapon fire, hits, and critical hits; short freeze-frame effect on kills Headshot system added; headshots are always critical hits Surface-specific hit effects (stone, metal, wood, flesh) Weapon recoil and bullet tracers added Aiming now works vertically as well: you can aim at a zombie's head, torso, or legs Zombies shot in the leg fall down, then get back up after a few seconds to resume attacking Long slow-motion effect for critical hits and headshots removed; all kills now feature the same short freeze-frame Weapon and zombie death sounds balanced

Blood and Dismemberment New realistic blood system: wet-looking blood droplets, blood splatters on walls, wounded zombies dripping blood on the ground Pools of blood that slowly expand beneath dying zombies Limbs can be severed; severed limbs fall realistically, and blood spurts rhythmically from the stump 3D chunks of flesh scatter upon impact Zombies killed by explosives lose all limbs, which are flung outward Turret, knife, and explosive hits now produce the same blood and flesh effects as gunfire Blood and debris are cleared when changing floors

Character Animations

Foot sliding issue fixed; Leg movement now perfectly matches character speed More natural starts and stops: brief acceleration and deceleration phases added Seamless transitions between walking, running, and sprinting Fixed the "moonwalk" effect when turning in the opposite direction Small mouse movements while aiming no longer cause leg movement Smoother entry and exit for reload, weapon swap, and firing pin animations Smoother transitions for death, item pickup, and knife animations Improved foot placement on stairs and slopes Added a subtle shadow beneath the character to ground them visually Character model deforms more smoothly across Low, Medium, and High graphics settings

Equipment

Turrets now target zombie torsos and can hit zombies lying on the ground Grenade throw preview turns green when a throw is possible

UI and Settings

Crosshair lines thickened; crosshair jitter and deviation removed "Continue" option appears large and at the top of the main menu if a save file exists New setting: Hold-to-aim vs. toggle-aim mode (available in all languages)

Bug Fixes

Fixed issue where the character would switch to the slow-run animation after picking up an item while crouching Fixed issue where the aiming animation could break after respawning Fixed performance drop to 3 FPS after killing a zombie Fixed zombie corpses clipping into walls or floating in mid-air Removed invisible obstacles appearing at impact points Severed... The issue of limbs being transported to the next floor and appearing purple has been fixed.
