The episode is officially released!
Over the past week, all I had left to do was pick the music tracks, do some final polish on the dialogue, and set up the achievements. I managed to finish those tasks a day early, which gave me time to play around with the UI. The main menu background now changes depending on which ending you unlocked most recently, and the choices are color coded to fit the emotion, along with about 5 other smaller changes. Nothing major, just some quality of life improvements that I hope some of you may actually notice and enjoy.
Thank you to everyone who put the game on their wishlist and waited for the release! There is a 15% release discount which you guys can jump on. And whether you liked the game (I certainly hope so) or hated it, you can always leave some feedback in the reviews.

"A Surprise Visit" is the first episode in a series of short, slice-of-life adult visual novels centered on the main character and the women in his life.
Months after leaving your hometown to start a new chapter of your life, you receive a surprise evening visit from a close female friend. You've always shared a tight bond, but tonight, the lines between friendship and something more are finally about to blur.
Unwind with a short, focused, and cozy narrative where you dictate how the morning after will look.

~60 minutes: If you linger on the animations (added fap time).
Choices:
8 Role-playing Choices: Shape the protagonist's personality using a tone-based dialogue system. Will you play it cool and casual, keep your emotional walls up, or lean into the tension with flirty and romantic responses? These choices dictate your personality and immediate reactions without altering the overarching story.
1 Branching Choice: Your evening culminates in one final choice that dictates which of the two endings plays out.
Performance Note:
I tested the game on a budget laptop from around 2018. The integrated Intel GPU handled it perfectly fine (as listed in the system requirements), but ironically, the dedicated GPU (AMD Radeon 530) actually had some issues. I also tested it on a laptop with a more modern AMD APU from 2021 (AMD Ryzen 5 5500U) and had zero problems, so I’m guessing the issues are specific to older and no longer supported AMD mobile GPUs. So, if you are rocking a cute potato from back in the day, you might want to switch to your integrated GPU (if you encounter performance issues). You can do this by going to Windows Search, then Graphics settings, adding the game's .exe file, selecting the integrated GPU, and then restarting the game.
