v1.1 Patch Notes

Patch Notes v1.1

Thank you all so much for trying and playing the game!

We got many feedback from the past few days and here we have made some changes to address some issues.

Balancing (Early Game too slow)

  • Some of the prices in the early game has been adjusted
  • Some of the effects has been shifted around to make the early game feel slightly faster (not too much)

Achievement

  • Added a new achievement for collecting all the cards in the gallery (You should be also able to get it if you boot up your save file!)

Performance issues

  • Reduction of freeze time when entering the Skill Tree
  • Reduced frame-rate dip at the start of a new run
  • "Open All" packs now opens at the maximum of 10 packs at a time instead of the unbounded amount.

User Experience / Accessibility

  • Added WASD / Arrow Keys controls for moving the manhole
  • Added Flash Warning on the bootup of the game.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed controller input double-firing every button press for the rest of the session the first time you switched from mouse to controller.
  • Fixed the pause menu sometimes showing an invisible cursor (mouse worked for hover/clicks, but the pointer itself wasn't visible) if you opened it right after using keyboard movement or a controller.
  • Fixed the reversed WASD controls on the Skill Tree

UI / Wording

  • "Open All" booster pack button now shows exactly how many packs it will open (e.g. "Open 10") instead of a vague "Open All".
  • Card slot tooltip: "Reach Zone {X}" → "Reach Size {X}".
  • Empty card slot tooltip: "Click to equip a card" → "Select to equip a card" (controller-neutral wording).
  • Adjusted some UI boxes that goes out of screen when the UI Scale is too big.

Currently the game is playable on the Steam Deck but I am trying to get the game Steam Deck verified. There's a lot of tiny adjustments I have been making in order to get it approved so please bear with me!

Let me know if you still have any feedback for the game!
