Price change
Party Jousting has always been free but I changed it to a paid product, for two reasons:
I have released 15 games by now, and PJ is the one that I look back on with most pride. It was big for a while but Steam changed the algorithm to hide games that don't make them money, so what is the point of a free game if nobody can find it anymore.
I want to keep the game running and up to date, and I try to value my time, especially since losing my job.
Update change log
- Updated to the latest VikingEngine, MonoGame framework, .NET 10 and Steam API
- All dependencies are now baked into the game file
- Steam timeline markers
- The physics simulation will run in 120 FPS instead of 30
- New options menu
Joust Mode
- Made it safer to cancel dive bomb, but failure will cost 2 lives.
Golf
- The balls move a little faster
- Added 200ms cooldown to the bump use after the shot
Car ball
- Increased acceleration
What is next
There are a few more minigames I want to try out, it depends if the relaunch have any legs. But the general idea is to make a small to medium update every six months.
Open BETA
New modes, or old cancelled ones, can be played in "beta_test" using Steam versions.

Check out my current project, it's a massive game I have been working on for many years now:
