Graveyard Keeper 2 - Plans for the future
Hello, Keepers!
It’s been just over a week since the release of Graveyard Keeper 2, and we’re absolutely blown away by your support!
Your feedback, comments, guides, fan art, and bug reports - all of this helps us to constantly improve the game and make it as good as it possibly can be.
We get a lot of comments about specific game mechanics and features that some of you find challenging or, if we're completely honest, grindy and boring. Some of the tasks in Graveyard Keeper 2 have become chores, and this is not something we want to see in the game ourselves.
We get it, and we are here to address it.
Immediate plans
Our team has been hard at work over the last week, releasing multiple patches focused on bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, balance changes, and more. The recent update 1.008 for PC introduced several changes to vendor trades, order delivery requirements, and perk bonuses.
In the upcoming updates, we’ll continue working on rebalancing and improving various fundamental features of Graveyard Keeper 2, such as (but not limited to!):
- The number of gears zombies provide for conveyor belts will be increased (both with and without perk).
- Faith granted for the sermons will be increased.
- Already constructed workstations will be movable.
- Zombie-helpers will gather crafted resources and restart crafts in Kilns and Furnaces.
- Zombie-farmers will be able to collect Peat and start new crafts at Compost Heaps
- The Panic Reduction system will be reworked.
- The number of order slots will increase with the population.
- Trader upgrades will be rebalanced and simplified.
- Hypno-devices will be rechargeable through the Astrologer.
- Cremation for zombies will be implemented.
Steam Reviews
As mentioned above, we are grateful to each and every one of you who has played Graveyard Keeper 2 since its release last week and has already shared your feedback with us. Steam reviews are extremely important to us, as they help us clearly understand issues players are facing and provide us with the necessary information on how to fix them. If you haven’t left a review just yet, please do so here!
Thank you so much for your trust and continued support on this journey.
