Sector 13: Haunted Woods – Patch Update V1.0.4

Sector 13: Haunted Woods – Patch V1.0.4

🙌 Hello, Explorers!

Patch V1.0.4 is now live!

This update brings several bug fixes and gameplay improvements based on feedback from our players.

🛠️ Fixes & Improvements

  • Fixed a missing interaction prompt when a ghost grabs onto the player’s head. In some cases, the E interaction prompt would fail to appear.
  • Improved the Unstuck system. Added 1 Unstuck recovery point to each of the 13 exploration areas. When using Unstuck, players will now be moved to the nearest safe point within the area they are currently exploring, instead of being sent far away.
  • Improved the helicopter ending sequence. The ending animation has been adjusted to make the helicopter departure feel smoother and more natural.
  • Added a sound effect when refueling the helicopter.
  • Fixed the Thai Dancer ghost’s chase behavior in the Thai House area. The ghost should no longer become stuck or remain standing still during a chase.
  • Fixed FPS drops when using the camera (C). Activating the camera could previously cause noticeable FPS drops, resulting in delayed or stuttering camera movement.
  • Improved jumpscare behavior in multiplayer. Jumpscare effects will now only be shown to the player being targeted, rather than unnecessarily affecting other players.
  • Fixed an issue with the Stalker’s throw attack. If the Stalker was photographed while attempting to throw a player, the affected player could sometimes remain suspended in mid-air.
