Survival Log Autumn Update Now Available! Autumn Sale Oct 2, 2 Bundles Sep 30
Hello, survivors!
Survival Log Autumn Update Now Available
The five areas in our October roadmap have been implemented!
Your feedback indicated two major issues for us to focus on: too much micromanagement in the mid-to-late game, and a lack of new objectives once you stabilize your survival situation. For the first issue, the update will add a household robot and an auto-deployment feature for the Drone to cut down on the drudgery of daily tasks. For the latter, we'll be adding new challenge routes and endings, a new explorable "Tech Company" map, and expanding Endless Mode, making living out your days more worthwhile.
We're also adding home renovation, furniture recoloring, new recipes, and a host of improvements to controls. Your post-apocalyptic safe house should feel like a home!

Autumn Update
Version Number: 1.1.18153
1. Safe House Automation: Let Your Safe House Run Itself
After passing the early game, the constant grind of organizing supplies, harvesting plants and repairing your house can start to feel like a grind. That's why we're introducing three assistants.
- 3 Smart Robots: The HK-series supply bot moves supplies to containers based on tags, tidies and cleans floors, and can even move cooked food to the fridge. The GR-series planting bot digs, sows, monitors, and harvests plants. The FX-series repair bot takes care of repairs to doors, windows and defenses. The robots can be charged using charging stations, and feature installable and upgradeable modules. They'll even chat to each other while working.
- Drone Control Platform: Supports up to 3 Drones, and can be configured to deploy them automatically for daily operations delivering and retrieving goods. Trade, aid requests, goods deliveries, and emergency deliveries can all be launched from the platform.
- Custom Storage Rules: Container tags have been changed to a multiple-choice system, allowing you to filter by processing stage, food type, and status. Containers will display tags, storage markers, and quantities, and the supply bot will move supplies according to tags.
- Materials Rack: New furniture allowing you to store materials by type, and can also be locked.
The blueprints and core components for the robots can be found in the Tech Company, a new explorable location. Upgradeable modules can be obtained via trade, procurement missions, and Survival Tactics.
2. New Challenge Endings: More Than Survival
Save Files:
New challenge routes and endings require a new save file. Existing save files will keep the original routes and endings. Save files created after the autumn update will be marked with a maple leaf in the save list to distinguish them.
New challenge routes and endings have been added for each character. Some require you to defend your safe house until the end; some require you to renovate your safe house; some require you to team up with other survivors.
- New Branching Endings: Defend the House (Universal) - Defend your house over multiple zombie waves. Complete the "Neighborhood Shield" challenge to become "Guardian of the City".
- First Rescue (Universal) - Repair your communication device, activate the Distress Beacon, prepare supplies, and wait for a "Timely Arrival".
- Stronghold Lights (Wage Slave) - Team up with other survivors over the radio, accept procurement missions, build up a base, and light up the "Stronghold Lights".
- Apocalypse Lighthouse (Wage Slave) - Interact with and help other survivors and build trust to become a "Lighthouse" in the apocalypse.
- Apocalypse Greenhouse (Student) - Turn your balcony into a greenhouse, decorate it with your favorite colors, and create an "Apocalypse Oasis".
- Overwinter (Student) - Take procurement missions from the research institute and grow plants that can resist extreme cold to provide a "Seed of Hope" for future crises.
- Supply Hub (Warehouse Manager) - Take procurement missions from the rescue platform, distribute supplies, and team up with other strongholds.
- Special Missions: Each character can complete missions during their main story to unlock the procurement missions feature. Deliver specific goods for valuable rewards. After finishing a certain number of procurement missions on the rescue platform, the Warehouse Manager will automatically receive a multi-stage procurement mission with even more valuable rewards.
- Clearer Ending Guidance: Events crucial to particular routes will be marked. Missions will also be grouped by route on the missions tab, allowing you to see your current progress and next objectives.
3. New Post-Disaster Explorable Map: Tech Company
In the post-disaster mid-game, a multi-story building will appear. Find the key to explore the Tech Company.
- Multiple Floors: Switch between multiple floors and figure out ways to bypass turnstiles and locked doors to enter.
- New Items and Story: New office items, collectables, and story content with illustrations. You might even find deactivated prototype robots during your explorations...
- High-Level Automation Components: This is where you'll find household robot schematics, core components, and advanced materials.

4. Expanded Endless Mode: More Choices, More Variables
- Work With Other Strongholds: During a new Pure Endless Mode run, trading points and strongholds will continue to appear. You can trade with them via the Drone. Strongholds will suffer from goods shortages and zombie hordes, and ask you for rescue and assistance; when your safe house encounters a zombie horde, you might be able to ask them for help to draw the zombies away. Helping other strongholds will grant you Survival Points every day—whether they make it through the disaster alive will be up to you.
- New Wave Pacing: New Endless Mode save files now feature 3 waves every 5 days, with a rest day in between. A major assault will occur every 20 days, and difficulty options have been expanded up to 40. Existing Endless Mode save files will keep the original rules.
- Start from Disaster Day 1: Pure Endless Mode will record your pre-disaster preparations (you can also lock down a portion). When you restart your run, you can skip the pre-disaster phase and start from Day 1.
- Exclusive Pure Endless Skills: Pure Endless Mode adds new exclusive skills including Will to Survive, which grants extra Survival Points for the first 10 days. Starting Planning Points are also increased, Planting and Cooking skills begin at Level 1, and characters' starting abilities are also increased.
- Exploration Strategies: In Endless Mode, leaving the house to explore for the first time each day will not cost Survival Points (subsequent explorations will cost points). The choice to continue gathering supplies or preserve your Survival Points will depend on your current circumstances.
- Personal Best: The Endless Mode character select screen will display each character's longest number of days survived.
5. New Furniture, Features, and Tactics
- Auto-Trapping: Reach Trapping Level 5 to unlock auto-trapping, including bait and storage.
- Compost Bin Upgrade: Compost Bins now come in basic, medium, and advanced tiers. The fertilizer produced is determined by the Satiety rating of food added, and limited by the tier of the Compost Bin (basic Compost Bins will only produce basic fertilizer).
- New Prey and Recipes: Catch possums, pheasants, quail, bullfrogs and more, along with dozens of new recipes to go with them.
- New Advanced Materials: Integrated circuits, wire, stainless steel plates, acrylic sheets, and more advanced materials. The crafting level requirements for certain recipes has also been reduced.
- Handmade Items: New handmade items can be found in the Supermarket, School, and Hospital. They can be collected, or broken down to receive Scrap Paper, Plastic, Glass and other basic materials.
- Survival Tactics Overhaul: Added robot modules, renovation, and expansions to Survival Tactics. After purchasing all of your character's current slots, you can also gain access to a set of expansion slots.
6. Beyond the Roadmap
Safe House Renovation
- Renovation System: Added a new renovation tab to Layout Mode, allowing you to change the wallpaper and floors of your house post-disaster. Renovation materials can be crafted at the Workbench, and can also be purchased at the building materials store.
- Recoloring: Added a new recoloring system. Your character can craft eight different types of furniture dyes by extracting pigments from plants. Dyes can be applied to furniture, and can also be directly applied when crafting furniture at the Workbench.
- New Safe House Slots: The three main characters' houses have more slots of all types which can be unlocked via Survival Tactics.
Zombie Hordes and Defenses
- Zombie Horde Overhaul: In new save files, new zombie types have been added to both story hordes and Endless hordes, with the new types appearing as more days pass and more variations on attack directions. Crawler zombies can dodge electric saws and damage them, requiring you to install more defensive measures. Existing save files will keep the original story hordes.
- Repairable Defenses: Defenses will become damaged and stop working once their Durability is depleted. During peaceful periods or when zombies are retreating, you can spend materials to repair them, or leave it to the repair bot.
- Spike Trap Upgrades: Spike traps will no longer impede zombies once their Durability is depleted, but they can still periodically deal damage to zombies standing on top of them.
- Vine Shield Buff: Zombies now take damage when biting a Vine Shield. Vines can now also be transplanted onto Mechanical Chainsaws.
Codex and Achievements
- Renovation Codex: Added a Renovation category to the codex. Apply wallpaper or flooring to unlock corresponding entries. Added robot charging station, defenses, and communication devices to the furniture codex. Furniture that has already been installed will be registered upon loading your save.
- More Collection Objectives: Added a higher tier of collection objectives for the plants, hunting, crafting, and furniture codex. As codex progress increases, more renovation styles will be unlocked.
- New Achievements: Added 20 new achievements, covering new challenge routes, robots, strongholds and rescue, recoloring, cooking, hunting, and Endless Mode.
7. Other Content
- Main Menu: Upon opening the game, the first thing you see will be the house you are currently protecting. The character shown will be determined by the save file in the "Continue" slot.
- Batch Crafting: The Workbench now supports batch crafting, and can use materials stored in nearby open containers. Click outside the finished product pop-up window to collect the finished product and continue crafting. Items in the Workbench will now show uses remaining, quality, and expiration markers just like in the inventory.
- Ground-Level Object Panels: Added ground-level objects panel to the inventory. When the inventory is open, you can directly pick up objects on the ground, or put objects in your inventory on the ground.
- Batch Transfer by Type: Hold the highlight button (Alt by default, can be changed in settings) and hover over objects to highlight their object type, then right-click to transfer by type.
- Tab Quick-Entry: When multiple interface tabs are open, you can drag an object to the "Other Containers" tab on the left and release to place it in the container.
- One-Click Discard: Added a one-click discard feature to the inventory, allowing you to quickly leave objects on the ground to clear your inventory.
- Cooking Auto-Organize: Added an auto-organize feature to the inventory and Refrigerator tabs on the cooking interface.
- Unlocked Recipes Overview: You can now see an overview of unlocked recipes at each level from the Proficiency tab in the Survival Log.
- Reset Post-Restart Points: After restarting a loop, you can remove allocated Survival Points with one click and reallocate them.
- Fractional Fertilizer: When sowing seeds, you can use fertilizer even if you don't have enough to fill the planter. Fertilizer effects will depend on the fraction of the required amount added.
- Object Types: Added story item, collectable, record, and renovation materials object types.
- Settings Pages: The Settings interface is now divided into General and Hotkeys pages. Added graphics options and environmental sound volume slider.
- New Weather: Added heavy fog.
- Loading Progress: Added a new progress meter when loading.
- Map Exploration: Added dynamic effects to exploration point illustrations with a vintage photo feel.
