🟡We Have a Release Date!!

YAYYY! We can finally announce it:

Cult of the Yellow King will leave Early Access and fully release on October 12th!

It feels a little strange to finally write that date down. We have been working on the game, changing things, breaking things, fixing them, and adding far more content than we originally planned. Now we are putting all our focus into finishing everything and making the full release as polished as possible.

The Demo Has Been Updated!

We’ve also released a big update for the demo!

The previous demo was very old and no longer represented the current game properly. A lot has changed since we originally released it.

The updated demo is now much closer to the current version, so if you tried it a long time ago (or haven’t tried the game yet) this is a much better look at what Cult of the Yellow King has become.

The demo will stay available until one week after the full release. After that, we plan to remove it. So if you want to try the game before buying it, now is the time!

What Are We Working On?

For the full release, we planned to add a few new things. And by “a few,” we apparently meant a lot.

We’re currently working on new buildings, relics, achievements, and plenty of smaller improvements throughout the game. We also have a few surprises!

We want the full release to feel complete and rewarding and not only for new players, but also for everyone who has already spent many hours growing their cult during Early Access.

Thank You for Being Here

Early Access has helped us enormously. Your feedback, bug reports, reviews and suggestions have all helped shape the game into what it is today.

Making an indie game with such a small team can be chaotic, and we still have a lot to finish before October 12th, but we’re incredibly excited about where the game is heading.

Thank you so much to everyone who played the game, shared it with someone, reported a problem, left a review, or just watched the numbers go up. 🖤💛

We’re excited, nervous, and working at full speed.

See you at the full release on October 12th!
