Early Access, roadmap & pricing

After months of development, playtests, screams, questionable dice rolls, and more than a few deaths around the board, Invokyr is preparing to enter Early Access.

Today, we want to give you a clearer look at what will be available at launch, what we plan to add during Early Access, and how much the game will cost.

First, mark the following date in your calendar!

Invokyr will be available in Early Access on October 8th at 9 AM British Summer Time / 10 AM Central European Summer Time / 1 AM Pacific Standard Time

What’s included at Early Access launch?

Our goal for Early Access is to launch with a complete core experience that already offers plenty of hours to play and experiences to discover, while giving us room to expand the game alongside the community.

At Early Access launch, the Invokyr collection will feature four distinct board themes:

  • Haunted Manor, Jungle, Icy Mountain and Desert.

Survive the collection, defeat the Master Board, and prove how long you can last when the Game Master starts making up the rules.

Of course, every roll can unleash something into the house!

The Early Access version will include:

  • 4 different board themes, each with its own atmosphere, dangers, and encounters
  • 15+ monsters hunting you through the manor
  • 20+ supernatural events triggered throughout your games
  • More than a dozen different dice, each capable of producing strange and chaotic effects
  • Cursed Idols offering powerful abilities at a price
  • House Rules that twist the usual rules of the game and make subsequent challenges increasingly unpredictable
  • A dedicated Shop, where your hard-earned score can be spent on upgrades, gadgets and furniture

The combination of boards, monsters, events, dice, idols and rules means that even when you know the game, you can never be entirely sure what the next roll will bring.

The Early Access Roadmap

Early Access is only the beginning of the journey!

After the Early Access launch, our priority will be addressing issues reported by players and improving the existing experience. We'll tackle identified bugs first, alongside quality-of-life improvements and requested features such as additional accessibility options.

Then, we intend to considerably expand Invokyr.

Planned future updates

We currently plan to add:

  • 3 new board themes, including Abyss and Space, with a third theme still to be revealed
  • 10+ new monsters
  • More dangers, idols, and dice effects
  • Major Shop improvements, with new gadgets, furniture, and features
  • New chaotic House Rules
  • Additional lore elements surrounding Invokyr, the house, and its Game Master

And naturally, your feedback during Early Access will help us determine what deserves the most attention as development continues.

Price & Launch Discount

Invokyr will launch in Early Access for $12.99 / €12.99 / £11.75.

To celebrate the release, the game will also have a 25% launch discount.

We wanted the Early Access price to make it easy to gather a group of friends and jump into the game together, while reflecting the amount of content already available from day one.

As Invokyr grows with new boards, monsters, rules, and systems throughout Early Access, the price may increase toward the full release.

One roll is never enough

Early Access is an important step for Invokyr.

We already learned a huge amount from our playtests, and we want to keep developing the game the same way: watching how groups actually play, seeing which moments create the best stories, and using your feedback to make the game stranger, scarier, and more chaotic.

Your help is always appreciated, and we invite you to be part of our Early Access journey when it starts on October 8th. Don’t forget to join our Discord community if you would like to stay in touch, give us your feedback, and be part of the experience.

The Game Master has plenty more boards in his collection.

See you around.
