We’ve been back in the wilderness making some improvements. 🌲
The latest I Am Your Beast VR update includes more reliable melee hit detection, multi-target melee attacks, faster level intro skipping, a joystick swap option for left-handed players, new speed line settings, spectator view options, and plenty of fixes and tweaks throughout the game.
Full patch notes below 👇
Fixed
- level 23 appearing tilted
- Intro not playing in Challenges level 7
- Incorrect NPCs number spawned when restarting levels
- Knife and bark hand pose rotation
- Watch UI now hides on level complete/fail.
- VFX speed lines shader modified, sprinting effect now shared between both eyes resulting in a smoother effect all around the view. Default intensity setting value changed to 0,8.
- Hide kill confirm setting not working correctly
- Hide HUD now hides only the floating UI. The watch UI stays visible.
Added
- Settings to hide laser sights and reticles in dedicated spectator view
- Joystick swap for left handed
- Press pause to skip level intro and start right away
- SFX on level intro skipped
- VFX Speed lines toggle and intensity slider in visual settings panel
Removed
- Melee hit cooldown for every melee attack (You can now hit several npcs in one swing with any melee weapons/punches, the "melee ammo" still behave correctly. Eg : one swing that hits 3 npcs = bark "out of ammo" and breaks)
Replaced
- Melee punch hit detection system (no more missed hits)
Tweaked
- Notification popup size increased
