After 2 years of development, Decklings is finally here!!
The full game was primarily made by 2 developers, with some help along the way. This project was started back in August 2024 - meaning it was just over 2 years of development to see it through to today. This is our first proper commercial release, and we're ecstatic to see you all finally dig into it!
Watch on YouTube ↗So much has changed in the last 2 years, that the game is hardly recognizable. Yet the core of a Stacklands-like monster taming adventure has always remained! We can't thank all of our fans, playtesters and wishlisters enough. The game wouldn't be half of what it is now without your feedback and support as we refined the concept.
The game is launching with full localizations for English, Brazilian-Portuguese, and German. Please let us know if you encounter any issues, and we'll get that cleaned up as soon as possible!
Future plans?
Initially the focus will entirely be on polish. If you encounter any bugs or have suggestions for us, please don't hesitate to share in the Steam Discussions or in the official Discord and we'll get to it as quickly as we can!
While the game is launching with 108 Decklings, we already have concepts for another 12 that weren't quite ready in time. We plan to patch those in with a future content update. What else is included in that mini-update will largely be determined by player feedback. We look forward to see what creative suggestions you might have!
