Performance Boosts, New Trees, 30% Discount & Contest Wrap-Up!
🛠️ Hey Flippers!
We are back with another devlog! This time, we’re rolling out a major patch focused on boosting your frame rates, squashing some of our most notorious physics bugs, and delivering a few highly requested features. We also have an update on our community contest. Let’s dive right into the highlights!
Watch on YouTube ↗💡 Let There Be (Proper) Light!
We know lighting is everything. That’s why we’ve added a new option in the Visuals menu allowing you to customize the brightness of items on your tablet. Even better, brightness in these previews will now automatically adjust depending on the time of day! We also squashed an annoying bug that forced you to turn lamps on twice just to see their light and shadows. Finally, we tweaked our emissive materials - your string lights will no longer burn your retinas out during late-night flipping sessions!

🚀 DLSS/FSR Frame Generation
Smooth flipping is the best flipping! To ensure your renovation empire runs as cleanly as a freshly scrubbed bathroom, we have added DLSS and FSR frame generation support.

Since this tech is highly hardware-dependent, it’s disabled by default. If your PC supports it, turn it on manually in the settings and test it out! Here is what to expect:

- 🟢 The Good: A massive boost to your frame rate for a buttery-smooth experience.
- 🔴 The Catch: On some setups, it might introduce slight input lag or visual artifacts!
We have also implemented a new round of general game optimizations, improved upscaler stability, and fully resolved issues causing screen tearing.
🌲 New Trees & Place to Sit
For all the landscapers out there, we’ve added 21 new large trees available to purchase and plant! We also improved materials for multiple plants so they no longer appear excessively dark.

And for those times when you just need to sit back and admire your hard work indoors? You can now sit on toilets!

🏗️ Taming the Physics & Architect Tweaks
Have you ever tried to move something from a stack of items only to send the rest of them flying into the stratosphere? Well, now stacked objects have been tamed! Removing an item from a stack will no longer launch all the others into orbit (this should fix the issue blocking 100% job completion).
We also gave a lot of love to the building systems. For example, we fixed a bug where the Architect Tool would lose its stretching functionality and shrink too quickly when placed next to manually built walls, alongside resolving several visual gaps, disappearing wall tops, and Z-fighting.

🏆 Community Job Design Contest Wrap-Up
The Community Job Design Contest has officially ended! A massive thank you to everyone who fired up their creativity and submitted their incredible designs. Our jury is now hard at work reviewing all the entries and picking the winner. We'll be announcing the results very soon, so keep your eyes peeled for the big reveal!
