Update v1.0.15 – Smarter Soots, Faster Inventory & a Hungrier Gold Mimic

Hi everyone! This update is about making your factory run smoother: soots deliver more reliably, the inventory stays fast even when it's packed, and the Gold Mimic has a lot more on its menu. Here's what's new.

🧹 Soot Delivery Overhaul

  • Fixed: soots sometimes stopped supplying buildings. Cooking Pots (including Magic and Electric ones) could sit idle even though their ingredients were in storage.
  • Any quality works now. Soots take ingredients of any quality and use the lowest quality first, so your best items are saved for last. Mimics still only take the qualities you pick.
  • One trip per building. A soot now carries everything a building needs at once. For example, a Mechanic Table gets its Wood, Lead and Rock in one trip instead of three.
  • No more half deliveries. If storage doesn't have everything a building needs yet, soots wait and then bring it all in one trip.
  • Shorter walks. The closest free soot takes each job. Soots pick up from the best storage (SubWarehouses included) and come out of the nearest Soot Cave or SubSootCave.
  • Smarter pickups. Soots wait a moment for dropped items to stack before collecting them, and pick up nearby piles first.

🎒 Inventory

  • Fixed: sorting a large inventory could freeze the game for several seconds. Sorting is now instant, even with hundreds of stacks.
  • Scrolling stays smooth no matter how full your inventory is.
  • Sorting now neatly merges partial stacks of the same item and quality.
  • Improved the look of the inventory scroll bar.

💰 Gold Mimic Menu Expanded

The Gold Mimic can now eat and sell many more items:

  • Batches of 100: Lemon, Strawberry, every cooked dish (Leafy Water Brew, Melon Stew, Mudroot Soup, Roasted Chestnut Soup, Shadow Broth, Spicy Veggie Mix, Verdant Stir Fry, Nightlight Salad, Magic Cocktail, Odor Bomb Candy, Chaliapin Steak, Herb Breaded Lamb, Unagi Kabayaki, Elk Medallion, Salmon Sushi, Wildlife Meatball, Fried Cicada) and Magic Core.
  • Batches of 999: all seeds, Wood, Rock, Lead, Battery, Magic Wood and Platinum.

Tip: the Mimic starts a batch only once it has the full amount, so make sure you have enough in storage!

⚖️ Balance Changes

  • Electric Factory: Level 1 now makes 5 cores per batch (was 4). Level 2 now makes 12 (was 8). This applies to Small, Medium and Big Electric Cores.
  • Magic Core (Arcane Table) now needs 30 Batteries (was 50).
  • Protein Converter now makes 3 meat per Magic Core (was 1).

♾️ Prestige Fixes

  • Fixed: players who unlocked Infinity early could get stuck with no main quests after a Revolution. Your story now continues on the next quest you haven't finished.
  • With Infinity, Winmon shop prices now reset at the start of each run. Building prices keep rising as before.
  • Fixed: story scenes with Xandi and Nyxle couldn't start if your Winmon team was full or they were in your bag. They now always come onto the field for the scene. Your team may briefly go over its limit, and you can send them back to the bag afterwards.

🖥️ UI & Quality of Life

  • Removed the passive skill on/off checkbox in the Winmon info window. Passives are now always active.
  • The "!" on the Winmon count no longer shows when your Winmon zone is already at max level.
  • Fixed the upgrade button in the Winmon list sometimes not reacting to clicks on its text.

Thank you for playing and for all your reports and feedback. Keep them coming! 💛
