Update v1.3.0

Thanks for all the feedback since launch. This one is a big pass over the two places you spend the most time: the kitchen counter and the plating table.

Four new outfits for Yummy

Static Charge, Porcelain Waltz, 996 and DJ Yummy are now on the shop shelf. Buy one and it goes straight into her wardrobe, ready to wear or to plate on.

Decorate the table

The shop now sells goods you use rather than own once. First up is the Lotus Flower — lay it on the plate while you're arranging, and a well-dressed nyotaimori earns a better tip. Your stock sits in a tray in the corner of the plating screen, which folds away when you want the space back.

The kitchen counter, rebuilt

  • One camera you aim yourself, instead of three fixed views cutting between stations. Pan with A/D or by moving the pointer to either edge of the screen.
  • Picking something up no longer yanks the view somewhere else — the camera stays where you put it.
  • The current sushi is now marked in the order list along the bottom. Orders were always made in sequence, but every item looked the same, so reaching for the wrong one felt like the game rejecting a legal move.
  • R now rolls, alongside C to cut and X to clear a board.
  • The roll button is always visible, and the knives are easier to hit.

See what you earned

Money, Affinity and Devotion changes now pop up as they happen — green for a gain, red for a loss — arriving one at a time so you can actually read them rather than getting a wall of text at the end of an order.

Carrying an ingredient also highlights the board underneath the pointer, so you can see where a drop will land before you let go.

Balance

  • Every order pays 1.5x what it did, tips included.
  • The three music tracks were mastered to very different levels — the kitchen played about twice as loud as the rest. They're brought in line with each other now, all still under your own music slider.

Fixes

  • The shop's item strip ran off the end of its scroll range once there were enough items — the last few could not be reached at all.
  • The wardrobe carousel could throw an error and leave a character in her old clothes when scrolling past a locked outfit.
  • Outfits only one character can wear now say so on the shop card.
  • Saving from the pause menu with no save slot selected no longer fails silently.
  • The sashimi board now checks what you put on it against the order's recipe — it would previously cut anything into finished pieces.

Thanks for playing, and keep the reports coming.
