Regular Update v1.1.0

Customers now have opinions about who serves them, you can walk the camera around a finished plate, and a save bug that could quietly cost you a session is gone. Thank you to everyone who reported things — most of this list came from you.

New

  • Customers can ask for a specific girl — roughly one order in three names who they'd like the sushi served on. Honour the request and you keep the full tip; serve someone else and the order still completes, but the tip is halved. You can send them straight to the wardrobe from the order itself.
  • Inspect the finished plate — once a nyotaimori is presented, an Inspect button lets you orbit the camera around it. Drag to rotate, scroll to zoom. Continue stays available the whole time, so you can look as long as you like.
  • Save button in the pause menu — sits beside Unstuck, so you can write a checkpoint whenever you want instead of waiting for the day to end.

Improved

  • Newly unlocked recipes show up far more often — the day's orders used to be drawn evenly from everything you'd unlocked, so a recipe you'd just earned competed with every old one and rarely appeared. Larger multi-recipe orders like the party trays and the Love Boat are now roughly twice as likely later in the game, and the simplest one-item orders taper off.
  • The wardrobe closes once you choose who serves, instead of leaving you to dismiss it.

Fixed

  • Progress could be lost after starting a game from the title screen. Starting with Start rather than Load never claimed a save slot, so the session autosaved to a different file than the next launch would read — and the in-game Save button refused with a message pointing at a menu that doesn't exist. Both are fixed, and existing saves are claimed on load.
  • Affinity and devotion could go to the wrong girl. The character on the tray did the work, but browsing the wardrobe could redirect the reward — and the day's summary showed the wrong face. Everything now credits whoever actually served.
  • Kuroneko's intimacy scenes were missing their subtitles — three of the five clips showed an empty dialogue box instead of her lines.
  • Your plating companion could stay lying on the table after an order finished, so you'd meet her twice at once while walking the restaurant.
  • The quest log's background panel stayed on screen after a conversation even with no active quests, leaving an empty frame on the HUD.
  • Japanese: corrected the name of the cucumber roll to かっぱ巻き — it had been using the word for a different vegetable.

Keep the reports coming. The save-slot bug above was found by a player in the community, and it's the most important thing in this update.
