First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who has played Recurrence so far!
We’ve been reading all your comments, reports, and suggestions, and they’ve been incredibly helpful. We are already working on improving the game, and this first patch addresses some of the issues reported since launch.
Thank you for supporting Recurrence and helping us continue to improve it.
Patch notes:
- We’ve added more menu options. You can now toggle individual post-processing effects on or off.
- We’ve added an option to rotate the camera using the mouse or controller during third-person sections. Additionally, in this mode, aiming a weapon causes the character to aim directly where the player is pointing. An option to invert axes has also been added.
- In the notes menu, we’ve implemented an icon to indicate notes containing information crucial for progression or solving specific parts of the game.
- We’ve adjusted the "Walker" animations and implemented a system where enemies react based on where they are hit by a bullet.
- The fixed camera angle in the hospital's recreation area has been removed.
- We’ve adjusted enemy sound perception; it is now slightly harder for "Sleepers" to hear the player.
- A visual bug regarding the player's health display has been fixed.
- Some enemies have been removed from the basement caves.
- In areas with fixed camera angles, the camera now remains in third-person view for a few seconds after you stop aiming before returning to the fixed position.
