Regarding an issue affecting some characters after the 1.14.1 update

An issue affecting some characters occurred following the 1.14.1 update.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

About the issue

• After applying the 1.14.1 update, some characters did not behave correctly.

Current status

This issue has already been fixed, and Desktop Mate can now be used as normal.

Please update to the latest version and restart Desktop Mate.

If the issue persists after restarting, please try clearing your Steam download cache using the steps below.

• Click the "Steam" menu at the top left of the Steam client
• Select "Settings" → "Downloads"
• Click "Clear Download Cache" and confirm with "OK"

After the cache is cleared, Steam will restart and sign you out. Please sign in to Steam again and then launch Desktop Mate.

Going forward

To prevent this from happening again, we will strengthen our pre-release testing before each update.
