[Major Update!] Challenge Mode & Games with Staff & New Stories & Built-in Endin
Hi everyone~
Most of the bugs/localization issues have been fixed by now, and I've been continuing to polish the game and develop new content.
Here's the first major update!

After starting a new game, you'll find a new Challenge Mode on the difficulty screen. It's for players who want to put their management skills to the test!
One year of pure management
All recipes unlocked,
All staff on board,
No going out or dialogue,
100,000 Yuan in starting funds,
Pay off 1,000,000 Yuan in one year!
After completing Challenge Mode, you can claim 5 Fate Points in the Fate Shop.
*Challenge Mode is very difficult. If it turns out to be way, way, way too hard, I'll adjust it...lol
Looking forward to seeing how you do!
Under Go Out > Stay at Taste of the Wind, you can now play board games with all of your staff.
It's presented as dialogue, more like a role-play scenario. Each staff member has different content to play through~
In earlier feedback, many of you said your favorite parts were the staff Affection stories, the travel stories, and the Thousand Island Lake rafting story. So after thinking it over, I've added new stories with the staff.
Added some recurring and one-time stories under Go Out to enrich the experience~
*Sagecity Liudaokou: three new stories (two long one-time stories, plus a story where, once your Mysticism reaches 20, you can set up a stall here, meet different people, and improve your Mysticism knowledge)
*Stone Town Pedestrian Street: one new recurring story
*Blossom Vale Jinzhu Tower: one new recurring story (reliably raises Nutrition knowledge)
Improved knowledge learning for Management, Cooking, Combat, Mysticism, and Nutrition, and fixed bugs where dialogue could block progress and some knowledge files didn't unlock. I've also added more dialogue for learning knowledge, and every knowledge type now has a complete mastery endpoint.
[Built-in Ending Unlock Conditions]
Many players have asked how to collect the ending CGs in the Gallery and how exactly each ending is unlocked.
I've written the unlock conditions for all endings into Secrets. On the main menu, in the UI on the right, below the save UI, click Secrets to see the unlock conditions for every ending.
I've also adjusted how endings unlock. For example, some endings no longer automatically take priority once reached (e.g. you can now choose freely among the knowledge endings you've reached). Apart from some mutually exclusive management endings (e.g. if you unlock the Grand Restaurant ending, you can't unlock the In the Red ending), most endings can be chosen freely once their conditions are met.
The requirement for knowledge endings has also been lowered to 40 (e.g. Cooking reaching 40).
Bug Fixes and Minor Improvements
* Fixed wrong character names and typos in some dialogue
* Localization: fixed an untranslated story segment in Year 304, the untranslated BaZi diagram in Mysticism, the fishing minigame displaying in Chinese, and some newspaper text overflowing its box; added missing characters to the Japanese font; other localization improvements
* Talking to Xiaoqing > Provide Materials: if you have no materials to provide, you'll now return to the conversation with Xiaoqing instead of it ending
Upcoming Plans
That's all for this major update!
In future updates, I'm planning to add new outfits for the staff, plus more random stories.
Beyond that, if you have any other fun suggestions, feel free to leave me a message any way you like~
Thank you all again for your continued support!
Have fun playing!
