Patch Notes - Fixes and Improvements Update v1.1

Critical Fixes and Bosses

  • Boss: The tentacle attack now correctly displays the area warning on the ground, allowing players to dodge in time.
  • Invisible Enemies: Fixed a critical bug that prevented the rendering of some enemies.
  • Achievement Exploit: Players joining Phases 4, 5, or 6 via multiplayer without having played the previous maps will no longer unlock the sub-boss kill achievement just by entering the arena and dying.

Gameplay and Balancing

  • Lobby: Fixed a bug that allowed multiple players to select the same character.
  • Pirate Facet (Anchor): Can no longer be activated against Bosses (it was way too strong). Fixed an issue where the Anchor wasn't properly cleared from the scene after activation.
  • Bard Facet: Now deals damage correctly, and its collision box has been hidden in-game.
  • Laser Eye: Fixed an issue to correctly apply damage even when the player is standing still.
  • Multiplayer: The Dash effect now replicates and works correctly for Clients in the session across all maps.

Optimization

  • Pirate's Trap: General optimization on the trap that was causing extreme FPS drops (the infamous PC destroyer).

Visuals and Effects (VFX)

  • Bosses: The VFX for some bosses have been adjusted and are no longer visually blown out.
  • Damage VFX: Damage VFX near some bosses is now properly rendered in the final build.
  • Decals: Fixed incorrect reception of visuals (decals) on the Mimic and Slime.
  • Chains: Fixed an issue with missing materials on these assets.

User Interface (UI) and Camera

  • Manual Aim: Fixed a conflict where the manual crosshair appeared even when playing in full auto mode. This also resolves the bug where a dead character would spin on the ground following the mouse target.
  • Minimap: The Mage's Frozen Ground no longer renders over objects outside the map on the Ship phase.
  • Shop: The Combo visual now correctly resets during the shop phase.
  • Dash: UI visual improvements and adjustments for the Dash.
