ACTION GAME MAKER G 2.0.1 Patch Notes

UI Improvements

We've improved how you work with project variables and project switches.

  • You can now change project variable and project switch values directly in the Variable / Switch Settings window.
  • The Database button is now a drop-down menu. From it, you can open windows to edit the values of project variables, project switches and the Shared Board.
  • You can now set keyboard shortcuts to open the Database and the Project Variables / Switches / Shared Board windows.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a crash when saving or loading in a scene you entered through a portal while a Player is placed in that scene.
  • Fixed the restored Player being drawn behind placed objects after loading.
  • Fixed a bug in exported builds where changing a property on a settings node didn't update the variables and switches linked to it.
  • Fixed EmitSignal connections being lost on save when they were on a layer that wasn't open in the Visual Script.
  • Fixed the Inspector being pushed off-screen when there were many sub-layer tabs in the Visual Script.
  • Fixed a bug in Godot mode where pressing "Back" in the Visual Script view went to Maker mode's Object Editing view and broke the display.
  • Fixed :animation keys in RESET and similar tracks still using the old name after a sprite animation was renamed or deleted.
  • Fixed project switches and variables added in a scene transition condition not showing in the list until the project was reloaded.
  • Fixed the selection jumping back to the top when choosing a database record or column in the Insert Variable Value dialog for text.
