ACTION GAME MAKER 1.4.0 Patch Notes
ACTION GAME MAKER 1.4.0 Patch Notes
New Features
- Upgraded the base Godot version from 4.4 to 4.7. For the new features in 4.5–4.7, please check Godot's official page: https://godotengine.org/releases/4.7/ Support for node UIDs, announced in a previous Producer Letter, is still not implemented:
- Fixed a bug where performance would slow down as a Visual Script grew larger. We fundamentally reworked the processing into a processor-based design.
These two changes are extremely large ones, so if you are currently working on a project,
"please be sure to make a backup."
If your existing project is affected, please switch the branch to 1.3.5 under Steam's Game Version / Betas settings and use that instead.
- Right-click ACTION GAME MAKER in your Steam Library.
- Select Properties from the menu.
- In the window that opens, switch to the Game Versions & Betas tab.
- Select the version you want, then close the window. Steam will automatically begin updating the game, and the selected version will be applied.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where deleting an InputMap entry caused the order to shift. From now on, InputMap entries are looked up by name match, so the order will no longer shift — but renaming an entry will break its references.
- Fixed a bug where "Add" was not applied in the input action list for scene transitions.
