Sep 30 Update: FPS Limit & Fixes

Hello everyone!

The Bell Echoes has released the September 30 update patch.

Since the full release, we have continued to fix issues and improve the game based on your feedback.

This update adds a new 【Frame Rate Limit】 option and fixes an issue that could cause a black screen after returning to the Monastery upon obtaining a 【Memory Fragment】 for the first time.

We also forgot to publish the patch notes for yesterday’s September 29 update, so those changes are included below as well.

September 30 Update

Added 【Frame Rate Limit】

A new 【Frame Rate Limit】 option has been added to the game settings.

Players can now limit the game’s frame rate based on their device and personal preferences.

Fixed Black Screen After First 【Memory Fragment】

Fixed an issue where returning to the Monastery after obtaining a 【Memory Fragment】 for the first time could result in a black screen.

September 29 Update

Improved 【Memory Fragment】 Guidance

After defeating a BOSS in a Corrupted Zone and obtaining a 【Memory Fragment】, a more noticeable UI guide will now appear after returning to the Monastery.

This makes it easier to locate and start the newly unlocked 【Memory Fragment】 story.

Improved Character Level-Up Notification

When a character is able to level up during Corrupted Zone exploration, a more noticeable UI notification will now appear.

This makes it easier to notice available level-ups and continue in-run character growth and Talent selection.

Story Flash Effect Adjustment

To improve the viewing experience for players who are sensitive to strong flashing effects, the bright flash effect that appears when Yah uses her ability during story scenes has been removed.

This effect usually appeared during scenes shortly before unlocking a 【Memory Fragment】.

Fixed Initial Language for English Players

Fixed an issue where the interface could default to Chinese when English players launched the game for the first time.

The appropriate language setting will now be applied correctly on first launch.

Thank you for continuing to send us feedback after the full release of The Bell Echoes.

We will continue to fix issues as quickly as possible and improve UI guidance, story presentation, and the overall gameplay experience based on your feedback.
