This hotfix resolves a number of issues identified by player feedback, including:
Lazy janitors – our maintenance staff had been noted to be seriously slacking off. This had a few separate causes, including general pathfinding hiccups and a bug that prevented janitors from correctly identifying nearby tasks. These rapscallions have been given a slap on the wrists and swear they’ll do a better job from now on.
Guest pathfinding – a related issue caused guests to sometimes become stuck, fail to follow paths or become unable to locate an exit. This has now been resolved.
Black screen – some players experienced an issue where the display became stuck on a black screen. This arose from an issue with the camera going out of bounds and has now been fixed.
Sandbox modes issues – some players reported that sandbox mode settings were not activating correctly when loading a save. This has now been fixed.
Other fixes include:
- Turning down the volume of toilet flushing and other sound level balances.
- Numerous fixes to issues arising from water system circuits
- Optimizations to improve loading times
- Fix for certain bonus missions triggering before they were unlocked
- Fix for active notifications sometimes disappearing
- Fix for textures not loading correctly on humans after they had been experiments on or used a torture trap
- Fixed a bug where moving a donation box caused it to fill with money
- Added a number of missing text lines from tool-tips
- Fixed a bug which caused special human characters to be duplicated
- Removed an obsolete upgrades panel from the workshop screen
- Fixed a number of issues with mission objectives not completing correctly
- Fixed an issue with General Jatak bonus mission not unlocking correctly
