Patch 2 is live! 💚
Our second patch is here, and it tackles some of the most requested changes from your reviews and feedback. Energy, prices and gold rewards were among the things you mentioned most, so this update is all about making your days on the farm feel more rewarding. Thank you for every review, bug report and message on Discord, it really does shape what we work on.
Here's what's new:
⚖️ Game balance pass
Many of you told us energy ran out too fast, prices felt unfair and hard work didn't pay off. We've rebalanced:
- Energy
- Prices
- Gold rewards
- Minimum crop drops, so your harvests are more reliable
📖 New Items tab in the Game Journal
Not knowing where to find a resource was one of the most common frustrations. The Journal now has a new Items tab with filters and tooltip tags, so it's much easier to figure out what an item is and how to get it. You can also hover over NPC quest requirement bubbles with your mouse to see a quick tooltip of what's needed.
🎥 Camera zoom and FOV settings
You can now adjust the camera zoom and field of view in the settings, so you can see more of your farm and play the way that feels best for you.
🎮 Controller improvements
Some players reported that certain controllers weren't working correctly, including buying the wrong item in shops. We've updated our controller plugin and confirmed the fix. Navigation in trading and villager craft windows has been improved, your last selected object is now remembered, and mouse hover is ignored while you're playing on a controller. We've also fixed controller navigation in the Journal.
🎵 Music update
Many of you missed the soundtrack, so music now plays more often, and we've improved the overall audio balance.
🌍 Quest requirement fixes
We've fixed incorrect text issues in several quests, including the garlic quest, the sail quest, festival tools and livestock.
🐛 Stability and crash fixes
We've fixed several potential crashes when exiting to the main menu, an error when spam-clicking, and a possible issue with tool items.
🔧 And we're still going
Patch 2 is another step forward, and we're already working on what comes next, including key rebinding and other requested features. Keep telling us what you'd like to see improved, it really helps us decide what to focus on 🙏
💬 Keep the feedback coming
If you stepped away from Dragon Shelter for a while, now is a great time to jump back in and see how it feels. If you run into a bug, the best place to report it is our Discord.
Thank you for growing with us, Dragon Keepers. Every patch brings us closer to the Dragon Shelter we've always dreamed of, and we can't wait to share what's next. 🐉
