v1.0.3 Update: CG Gallery, the First Treasure Effects, and More Fixes

Hello, Captains,

Thank you for all your support. Here is what changed in this update:

New

  • Gallery: A new Gallery button on the title screen. Browse the story CGs you have unlocked, one tab per companion. Drag or scroll to turn pages. Each companion has their own backdrop.
  • Treasure effects, batch one. They work as long as you own the treasure, nothing to equip: Mysterious Crystal Ball: see the dealer's hidden card in Blackjack. Ring of Night: doubles the betting limit in Blackjack. Golden Ship: its glow draws pirates, so you meet them more often. Fleeing always succeeds but costs two extra days, and the pirates it attracts are stronger. Worth a try if you want more fights, or want to meet Katerina.
  • Treasure icons: The card table and the Set Sail panel now show icons for the related treasures. Grey means you do not have it yet. Hover for details.
  • Layla's market tips Adjusted again: the tips she finds now better match your current fortune, and her fee has been adjusted to go with it.
  • The treasure hunter's free first dig Now happens in every run from the second run onward, with new lines.
  • Treasures avoid repeating Within one run, until you own every treasure of a given rank, you will not dig up one you already have.

Bug Fixes

  • The Mist sea event never appeared. It does now. We will not spoil what it brings.
  • After finishing a run, loading a save from the title screen could leave you in a city with no menu. Fixed, no restart needed.
  • A new story scene no longer flashes the last image of the previous one.
  • The affection hearts on the save / load screen now match actual affection.
  • English version: Zheng Wuxian's treasure-hunting skill no longer shows its notice in Chinese.

About Your Saves

Existing saves carry over, so there is no need to start again. Steam should update the game automatically; if it doesn't, restarting Steam usually does the trick.

If you run into any problems, please post in the Steam Community and we will respond as soon as possible.
