Patch 1.05 - Voice Chat Rework & Other Hotfixes

Howdy explorers,

Have the new creatures lurking within the jungle been causing you trouble?

We're currently working on our next big patch, but we've also been trying to resolve some outstanding issues that have been cropping up for some players. One of these has been the performance of the in-game voice chat.

While it's been working as intended for some, we have had reports of voice chat sounding robotic or not working at all. We've overhauled it to resolve these issues and given it extensive testing. Since The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu uses spatial audio, and some sanity effects use voice, we recommend playing using the in-game voice chat.

If you continue to experience issues with the in-game voice chat, please let us know on our Discord or in the Steam Discussions. Outside of that, it's a relatively small patch, but read on for the full notes.

1.05 Patch Notes

  • Fixed voice chat corruption during crossplay and on certain systems
  • Address profile setting issues with TSR and XeSS
  • Fixed the orb from the Mound level not handling damage properly

Share your thoughts in the forums or on our Discord - we're listening.

The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu - out now on Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
