Patch Notes
Hey shopkeepers! We're back with a new update. This time we focused mostly on improvements, along with a new system and some serious cleanup on the map side.
New Features
- Trash bin system is here. Thieves you've killed (or locals who accidentally got in your way, we don't ask) can now be thrown into the trash bin. If you're lucky while cleaning it out, a few coins might fall out of their pockets. Nothing goes to waste in Katra.
- UI scale setting added. We got quite a few complaints about the UI being too small, so you can now scale it up or down by percentage as you like.
- Customer voice volume and mute settings added. For those who prefer a quiet shop.
Changes and Improvements
- Order delivery cost is no longer fixed. Each product category now has its own per-item cost, but a minimum fee is charged up to a certain limit. If the total of the items in your order exceeds that minimum, the difference is added on top.
- The summary screen has been reworked. It's not final yet, but we believe it's a lot cleaner than the old one.
- You can now buy from the beer seller by looking at the seller himself, not just the table. It was rude not to look the man in the face.
- Interaction text position changed. It no longer sits on top of the object like a 2D label, it now appears to the right in a more 3D way.
Optimization
- Map optimization is done. Manual LODs were set on a large number of objects, which should reduce the load by around 30%. We'll keep stacking improvements on top of this over time. We also planted a few more trees, Katra is greener now.
Update Schedule
From now on, updates will come every two weeks. If something needs fixing in between, we won't wait of course, we'll push a hotfix right away.
Keep the reports coming, we read every single one. Now back to the counter!
