Survivors,
if you're reading this, you're still alive.
The playtests for Permafrost are officially wrapping up, and first and foremost: thank you. Whether you braved the early closed sessions, jumped into the open playtests, or fought to survive in our demo, your engagement means everything to us.
We want to be completely honest with you: we know the game isn't perfect yet. But your feedback is exactly what we need to shape this frozen world, and we hope you will stay with us to help develop it further.
We started this journey almost four years ago. We were a small team, and we still are, testing new mechanics and writing the history of this unforgiving reality step by step. As the developers at SpaceRocket Games, we genuinely believe in this project and pour our hearts into it. But we also know that a game like this cannot survive in a vacuum. To reach its full potential, we need an active, engaged community by our side.
That's exactly why we are heading into Early Access. We want to deliver an engaging, challenging experience right now, while working alongside you to build out this post-apocalyptic wasteland. And we are already deeply grateful for the incredible road we've shared with you so far.
We promise we won't let you down during Early Access. We are here to stay, to listen, and to keep expanding this world.
Thank you once again for surviving the cold with us.
