Extended Playtime & Second Round of Invites

Survivors!

We just sent out the second round of access. If you put your name down and didn't make it the first time, go and check your Steam library! Permafrost might already be sitting there waiting for you.

We are happy to see how eager you are to spend more time in Permafrost. You were definitely clear on the 1-hour limit, so to give you some more time to explore, we decided to extend everyone's total playtime to 2 hours!

This means that if you've already played for 1 hour, you can play for 1 more.

On top of that, we've fixed a handful of issues you've been flagging for us. Thank you, and please keep the reports coming!

Your 2 Hours

You have 2 hours with the clock starting the moment you launch the game. It counts everything, character creation included. Keep that in mind.

Don't Go Out Alone

You've got 3 invites to hand out. Bring whoever you like. Snowstorms are easier to bear with company, or at least more entertaining when it's someone else who freezes first.

When your hour runs out, please let us know your feedback. We read all of it!

Everything closes on 6 October at 14:00 CEST. After that, the next time the snow opens up, it stays open.
