Here are the Release Notes for Update 49.6: In Good Company, Patch 6 released on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
Of Special Note:
The Wolves of Mordor is now available to pre-purchase!
Answer the call of the hunt by traveling to Draugardh, a distant corner of Mordor where the Free Peoples' victory proves far from complete. Not every shadow fled when Mordor's fires dimmed, and some of the Dark Lord's oldest servants issue forth to threaten those who caused their master to fall. As terrible howls pierce the night, will you stand against the were-wolves of Mordor, or fall prey to the evil that stirs there?

News and Notes:
Lua Scaling Update:
- Lua Plugins are now supported by UI Scaling. By default, plugins will not scale. Check the "Use Global Scaling" option checkbox in the Plugin Manager to enable scaling.
- Note: The majority of errors that occur when UI Scaling is enabled for a plugin occur due to missing Edge Attachments. Control class will error when a Control resizes larger than the maximum and points to the offending Control's creation source file and line number.
- Plugin authors can change the scaling for their plugin with the following commands.
- Window:
- Method - Window:SetScalingOriginPoint(left, top);
- Set the point the Window scales around. Default position is 0,0.
- Disabled when the plugin is not using UI Scaling
[/*][*]
Method - Window:GetScalingOriginPoint();
- Get the point the Window scales around. Default position is 0,0.
- Returns: left, top
- Disabled when the plugin is not using UI Scaling
[/*][*]
Method - Window:RegisterForGlobalScaling();
- Enable Global scaling multiplier for the Window's scale
- Disabled when the plugin is not using UI Scaling
[/*][*]
Method - Window:UnregisterForGlobalScaling();
- Disable Global scaling multiplier for the Window's scale
- Disabled when the plugin is not using UI Scaling
[/*][*]
Method - Window:SetUIScalingGroup(UIScalingGroup);
- Set the UIScalingGroupType assignment for the Window.
- If the plugin is not using Global scaling, enables scaling for this Window.
[/*][*]
Method - Window:GetUIScalingGroup();
- Get the UIScalingGroupType assigned for the Window.
- Returns: UIScalingGroupType enumeration
[/*][*]
Method - Window:SetScale(scale);
- Updates the local scale of the Window. If registered for Global scaling, this value is multiplied by the Global scale factor.
- If the plugin is not using Global scaling, enables scaling for this Window.
[/*][*]
Method - Window:GetScale();
- Get the total scale of the Window (global scale * local scale)
- Returns: scale
[/*][*]
Event - Window:UIScaleChanged();
- Event fired when the player changes a UI scaling option that affects the window. Can be either the Global group or the assigned group.
[/*][/*][/*][*]
Display:
- Static Method - Display:GetUIGroupScale( UIScalingGroupIndex );
- Gets the value of the player's UI scaling option matching the requested UIScalingGroupIndex.
- See UI scaling group index list below.
