DBSZ Celebrates Its 2nd Anniversary with a Look at What’s Next

October 11 marks the second anniversary of DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, and we’re celebrating this milestone by looking toward the future.

The battle is far from over, with events, free updates, game modes, and additional fighters planned across 2026 and 2027.

Climb the Tower of Power

A new challenge awaits with Tower of Power, a mode designed to put your fighting skills to the test across increasingly demanding battles.

As you climb the Tower, stronger enemies will stand in your way, raising the challenge with every step. Fighters who manage to complete the Tower will also be able to earn customization items for their Ki Aura, giving you even more ways to personalize your favorite characters.

Tower of Power will first arrive as a Solo experience, with Team-up content also planned as part of the future roadmap.

New Ways to Fight Together

The future roadmap also includes Cross Play, planned to enter a beta testing phase after Summer 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.

Future Team-up gameplay will let players form a team of up to five members, with each player taking control of one character and facing opponents through individual 1v1 battles.

Please note that the Cross Play beta will be tested in a limited capacity. Further details regarding the official release will be shared at a later date.

And there’s even more on the horizon. Mission 100 SP, Survival Mode SP, additional updates and new paid DLC featuring playable characters are all part of the journey ahead, with content and timing depending on the platform.
