Box Knight Patch Notes - v1.0.0.3 beta
To access the patch right click the game > Properties > Game Versions & Betas > Select Beta version.
This patch touches a lot of systems and I will be returning to Australia from Gamescom in Germany (Thanks to everyone who came and checked out the booth!) so won’t be able to quickly fix any new issues. After a couple of days testing we will push it to main!
Co-op
- Fixed Meta/Outfit stats not applying correctly in co-op
- Fixed scaling upgrades incorrectly applying to both players instead of just the one who picked them
Bosses
- Fixed Fire status damaging bosses while they should be immune
- Fixed boss fight softlock when a boss dies before its final phase
- Fixed boss health bar sometimes not toggling correctly during the intro sequence
Gameplay & Balance
- Added gravity to Attack, Drink, and Charge player activities
- Can now dodge out of Claymore regular attack 3rd hit
- Added stat gating to specific in-run upgrades (eg. 1 fire on crit requires some crit)
- Modifier rewards no longer allow duplicate stats to roll (eg. cannot roll Common Damage and Rare Damage)
Fixes
- Fixed enemy Fire damage not resetting Buzz on the player
- Fixed UI overlap between Employee Evaluation and Savable Worker
- Savable Worker now allows selecting Drink option when full (just not claiming it)
- Outfit consistency/visual fixes
- Missile reflection ricochet now correctly targets flying Overseers
- Fixed loading a save with a different gender not refreshing the display dummy
- Fixed Horde mode only spawning melee enemies after first loop
Settings & Input
- Fixed VSync setting not applying correctly on load (was breaking saved target FPS)
- Added input buffering during hitstop (Stops swallowed inputs during hitstop effects, mainly noticeable in co-op)
- Added cursor lock state to prevent accidental clicks landing offscreen
- Updated button prompts to show M4/M5 instead of Back/Forward
Additional
- Enabled Steam Cloud saving for Dev and Tester accounts. Will enable fully once confirmed working correctly.
