- Improved keyboard controls for navigating the song list and using sorting and filtering features.
- Added favorites to the Course Select screen and added or improved sorting and filtering features.
Gameplay Settings Overhaul
Gameplay settings have been consolidated into a single window. Simple Settings lets you quickly change frequently used options, while Detailed Settings allows you to fine-tune individual options.
- Real-Time Preview Setting changes are immediately reflected in the preview, so you can see how they look as you adjust them.
- Expanded Preset Features You can save up to 10 named presets. Presets can be applied automatically based on key mode, song category, and whether you are playing a course. You can also exchange presets with other players using share codes.
- Search and Quick Access You can search for settings and skins by keyword. You can add frequently used settings to Quick Access for easy access.
- Improved Skin Selection The skin selection screen has been redesigned as a gallery, and we added search.
- Reorganized Settings Grouped sync adjustment options under the SYNC tab, and grouped the Keysound Performance Assistant and sound balance options under the KEYSOUND tab.
- Expanded Display Settings Added more display options for key input effects, KOOL effect size, the Judgment Tracker, and more.
Replay and LIVE CTRL Improvements
- Added rewind and fast-forward controls to replays, along with A–B loop playback in both replays and LIVE CTRL.
- Added a detailed judgment view for examining judgment distribution and input timing.
- LIVE CTRL now allows you to adjust settings in real time during gameplay and supports automatic sync correction.
- When a song ends in LIVE CTRL, you can return to a specified section or pause without leaving the screen, so you can keep reviewing the song.
Results Screen Improvements
- EARLY/LATE results are now displayed together with the reference value.
- Added animations for new records, level-ups, and rating increases.
- You can now view your Mates' scores on the Results screen. The replay save UI has also been redesigned.
Multiplayer Improvements

- Improved player status indicators in waiting rooms and during gameplay, including indicators for settings changes and disconnections.
Lounge and Mate Features
- Added the MATE feature. You can send friend requests using a UID and view your Mates' profiles and play information.
- Revamped record viewing in the Lounge. You can now check clear progress by category and key mode, recent play records for regular songs and courses, and overall and Mate rankings.
- Added playlists, shuffle, and repeat playback to MUSIC VIDEO.
Rating and Judgment Information Changes
- Revised STANDARD Rating Formula STANDARD rating is now calculated by adding together the top 20, 60, and 40 records from the three respective columns.
- Revised EARLY/LATE Display Criteria EARLY/LATE now displays based on the player's reference value, independent of judgment grades such as KOOL, COOL, and GOOD.
- Unified Judge Rate Calculation The real-time Judge Rate displayed during gameplay now uses the same calculation method as the Results screen.
Controls and Other Changes
- Changed the random song selection shortcut to F6 and the sound effect shortcuts to Ctrl+F5–F8.
- When the game language is set to Korean, a playtime notification is displayed every hour. If a song is in progress, the notification will appear after the song ends.
● Notice Regarding Data Downloads and Settings Resets Following the 2.0 Update
We updated all game data as part of our game data optimization work.
This work improves the logic and structure used to manage game data. No changes to in-game resources affect the player experience.
However, due to the updated data structure, switching between the live server and the public test server may require a relatively large download.
Depending on your network conditions, we understand that downloading nearly all game resources again may be inconvenient.
This optimization is necessary to manage game data more reliably and efficiently and to support stable service over the long term. We kindly ask for your understanding.
Additionally, some users’ existing settings were not transferred correctly during this update, so their settings were reset.
Although we worked to preserve existing settings during the transition, we couldn't transfer them successfully for all users. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of having to reconfigure your settings.
Thank you.
