Corsair Cove Demo Update - New Features, Improvements & Fixes
Hey Mateys,
We’ve just released a major update for the Corsair Cove Demo!
Since the original Demo launched, Corsair Cove has received plenty of new features, quality-of-life improvements, balancing changes, and fixes. With this update, we’re bringing many of those improvements from the full game into the Demo as well – while, of course, keeping the content itself within the scope of the Demo.
This means returning players will find a much more up-to-date version of the Corsair Cove experience, including Direct Ship Navigation, Auto-Trading, automatic Ship Repairs, new Event options, improved UI and feedback, and much more.
We’ve also incorporated a large number of fixes covering stability, tutorial progression, building placement, economy, events, visuals, audio, localization, and more.
⚠️ Important Information for Returning Demo Players
Old Demo save games will most likely not be compatible with this new version of the Demo. Due to the extent of the changes made since the previous version, we strongly recommend starting a new game.
If you would still like to continue an old save or access the previous Demo for any other reason, the old version will remain available through a separate Steam branch:
Right-click the Corsair Cove Demo in your Steam Library → Properties → Game Versions & Betas → select “Old Demo Version”.
Please also note that we are aware of some remaining localization issues in the updated Demo, which may result in occasional placeholder or incorrect text. We are working on addressing these issues in a future update.
With that out of the way, here’s everything that has changed:
