Game Update & Development Roadmap
Hi, Seekers!
I’m Logan, the game’s producer.
It’s been two days since the launch of Version 1.0, and I want to thank everyone for playing, discussing the game, and sharing your feedback in the forums and reviews over the past few days.
While we continue working on future content, we’ve also been going through all of your feedback. We’re a small team of just six people (which is why it took us so long to make this game!), so we appreciate your patience if our responses are sometimes a little slow.
We’ve already fixed some of the more annoying bugs. As for larger changes to future content, such as Hero Abilities, Artifacts, and other major systems, please give us a bit more time. We’ve already started discussing some improvements, and we’ll implement and release them as soon as we can.
When it comes to the overall game experience and difficulty design, I believe Normal Mode should now be in a pretty stable state after all the testing we’ve done and everything we’ve observed over the past few days. If you’re not very familiar with card games, playing a few runs to get used to the game, combined with some basic Talents, should make it much easier to progress through the game.
As for hardcore card-game players like myself, I know the first few runs can feel a bit boring. I’ve already had a chance to discuss this with players in the forums, and we’ve started discussing it internally as well. Improving this part of the experience will be one of the focuses of our next major update.
I also personally feel that Challenge Mode still needs some adjustments. Of course, there are already some incredibly skilled players who have managed to clear it. However, we’ve also received feedback regarding the design of certain opponents and bosses, so this will be another major focus of our next update.
For today’s update, we’re primarily focusing on changes that have the biggest impact on the early-game experience. For example, we’re significantly increasing the rate at which you earn Talent Points, while also reducing the difficulty of some elements in Challenge Mode that players have found particularly frustrating.
New Heroes, new Cards, and more opponents and Artifacts are also currently in development. Once we’ve finished prioritizing adjustments to the 1.0 experience and fixed the critical bugs, we’ll share more details about our plans for future updates.
Finally, thank you again for playing Seekers Alliance: Hero’s Journey.
We hope you’re enjoying the game!
