This War of Mine: Forget Celebrations Charity DLC

This is a charity initiative. All proceeds go to our partners: War Child, Amnesty International, Liberty Ukraine, and Indie Games Poland Foundation.

10 years have passed since the release of This War of Mine and the game’s message still remains poignant. In October 2024, the game was awarded a Special Recognition Award by Amnesty International. Sadly, the same award shows that the world hasn’t become a more peaceful place since the game launched in 2014. So instead of a big celebration, we’ve decided to dedicate this anniversary to doing the right thing. This War of Mine: Forget Celebrations is a DLC with a new story, special items, and, most importantly, a chance to support people in need.

Take the opportunity to revisit the besieged city of Pogoren with Katia, a seasoned war correspondent and one of the citizens you may remember from This War of Mine. The DLC opens with Katia struggling to write a book about the tragedies of people affected by conflicts. A sudden missile attack shatters Katia’s home and draws her work to a stop. Now, severely injured, she waits for a rescue party sent by her publisher. Before it arrives, you must help Katia look for her missing book materials while trying to survive in a war-torn city.

Features:

• Experience a new story set in the besieged Pogoren
• Search for missing war materials Katia needs to finish her book
• Face tough moral choices in your quest to survive
