About this game
The developer's description, from the game's Steam store page.

The fire that never goes out.
You spent nine ages building this town. The Hearth Seal is the day it gets a heart — a ceremonial fire raised in the square, tended on every island you will ever settle.
By day it is a gathering place. By night it is the warmest light on the island. And when you throw a festival, the town comes to your fire, and the blaze roars for three times as long.

A hearth, not a filter
This is not a gold wash over the island. It is not pennants on every roof. The rest of the town stays the town you built. What you buy is one masterpiece at its centre.
- The Ever-Hearth. A ceremonial fire in a clear patch near the heart of town — flame, sparks, a thin column of smoke, and a real warm light that pools across the square
- The Hearth Festival. Host Festival becomes Host Hearth Festival. The crowd gathers at the fire. The hearth is the festival blaze — it roars up, and no second bonfire is stacked on top of it. The party lasts three times as long
- The hearth-song. The quiet between tracks roughly halves, so the town hums instead of waiting

It is at its best when the town celebrates
Keepshore's nights already do a lot of work — forges throw sparks, cathedral glass burns, marquees chase around the picture-house. The Ever-Hearth sits under all of that as a single warm landmark. Host a festival and it becomes the thing you can see from across the island.

What the longer party is — and is not
A hosted festival is still one per Town Day, still costs the same coins, still lifts mood and trade the same way. The seal stretches the window, not the numbers. Spectacles — the Games, the Tourney, the Carnevale — keep their own venues and their own length. You did not buy a permanent party. You bought a fire the town can actually gather to.

Nothing here is placeable, on purpose
In Keepshore, beauty is a mechanic. Town Charm is scored from the buildings standing on your island, and it pays out — a coin-income premium, a milestone ladder, a quest objective, a festival epithet.
So a paid decoration you could place would be an unbooked economic advantage wearing a statue's clothes. This seal never places a building. The fire is laid over the town you built with your own resources — and your Town Charm is byte-for-byte identical with the seal on and off. There is a test that holds it there.

In short
- A ceremonial hearth at the heart of every town you build
- Host Hearth Festival — the town gathers at the fire, and the blaze lasts three times as long
- A fuller hearth-song between the quiet
- Duration only — mood, coins, XP and the one-per-day gate stay as they were
- Nothing placeable — Town Charm is unchanged
- Burns on every island in your realm, including the ones you have not settled yet
- One-time purchase. Turn it off and the fire goes out, with no trace left behind
The fire the town comes home to.
