Memory Dive: An 3xscape Game — Chapter One Demo

YOU EXIST. YOU DON'T KNOW WHY.

You don't know where you came from. You are just there, in a strange space where nothing is stable, and two voices are talking to you. That is all you know. So you do as they say, because why wouldn't you?

The space, they explain, is someone else's memory — rebuilt around you by a machine from a scan of his brain. Where the scan was clear, the room is true. Where it was not, the room is a guess. Nobody will tell you which is which.

INSPECT. TRACE. LINK.

That is what they ask of you. Inspect an object until it comes into focus and gives up a record. Trace the event it belongs to — what happened here, in what order, to what. Link the records, and when enough of them hold together the room gives way a little: a door, a device, a memory you had not reached. No fighting, no timers, no pixel hunting.

WHAT THE DEMO IS

The first room of the full game, whole. From the first object you are told to inspect to the moment the door opens — not a slice from the middle. Both voices are here, fully voiced, and so is your first look at the room contradicting itself.

WHAT COMES AFTER

Eleven more locations. Some of them the voices will tell you not to enter. And the question the demo only lets you start asking: whose memory this is, why it was rebuilt, and how much of what you are told you should believe.
