AI Generated Content Disclosure

Declared by the publisher

VN Engine 2D includes an optional AI-assisted dialogue generation feature available in the Pro License tier. This feature operates on a Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) basis: users connect the editor to their own local large language model (LLM) — such as ComfyUI, Text Generation WebUI, Ollama, or any OpenAI-compatible API endpoint — of their choice. The engine itself does not host, train, or operate any AI models; all AI inference runs on the user's own infrastructure, and prompts and outputs never pass through our servers. The AI feature is opt-in and disabled by default. No core editor functionality requires AI. The engine application, its user interface, bundled assets, and documentation are all created by human contributors and contain no AI-generated content. Content created by users with AI assistance (via their own LLM connection) is the user's own work product and is not embedded within VN Engine 2D itself.
