About this game
The developer's description, from the game's Steam store page.

Room to master more.
Keepshore's perk tree has a hard rule behind it: no kingdom ever finishes it. Your Specialist Focus is a fixed budget of 72 ranks, and when it runs out the tree simply stops selling you notables. What you invested in is who your kingdom is — the layout optimizer, the market shark, the city painter, the collector. You cannot be all of them.
The Focus Seal raises that budget to 92. Twenty more ranks of the specialist you chose to be.

Twenty ranks is a whole extra lane
Every notable in the tree costs Focus, and the wall at 72 always arrives before your ambitions do. Twenty ranks is the difference between a kingdom that had to abandon a specialism half-built and one that got to see it through — the deep ranks of Bountiful Hands, the full Master Plan, the Prime Sites you kept putting off.
You will still never reach half the tree. You will just get to finish the argument you were having with yourself.

It gives you room. It never gives you a delay.
This is the part that took the most care to build, and it matters more than the twenty ranks:
"Focus full" means two different things in Keepshore. It is the wall that stops selling you notable ranks — and it is the milestone that unlocks the Doctrine tier, where your kingdom commits to its permanent identity.
The seal moves the wall. It does not move the milestone. Doctrines unlock at the base 72 for an owner and a non-owner alike, on exactly the same rank. Every completion denominator in the game still counts against 72. If unlocking rode on the raised budget, paying would have bought you a slower path to your kingdom's identity — money buying a delay. It doesn't, and there is a regression test standing over it.

What it deliberately does not do
- No throughput, no rate, no coins. It grants a cap, not a multiplier. What you do with the ranks is entirely your call
- It cannot unlock the tree. The forced-specialisation rule holds: even at 92, a paid kingdom is still under half the tree, still choosing, still giving something up
- Doctrines stay 3-of-8 and still lock each other out permanently. That cap is not for sale
- Nothing is ever clawed back. Ranks you bought into the extension stay yours, whatever happens to the seal afterwards
In short
- +20 Perk Points of Specialist Focus — a 72-rank budget becomes 92
- Twenty more ranks of the specialism you already chose
- Doctrine unlock and every milestone still count against the base 72 — paying never delays your kingdom's identity
- No production bonus, no coin bonus, no rate of any kind
- Still under half the tree. Still a real choice
- One-time purchase, across your whole realm, forever
Same kingdom. More of it mastered.
