About this game

The developer's description, from the game's Steam store page.

Involved is a low-poly co-op space sandbox. Place a block on the ground, then another… and watch your ship grow. Add a seat, fuel tanks and thrusters — and take off. Everything you fly, you built.

  • More than 50 blocks: frames, windows, doors, cockpits, fuel and ion thrusters, gyroscopes, batteries, solar panels, generators, drills, refineries, cargo, lights, parachutes, landing gear…
  • Moving parts: rotors, hinges and pistons for cranes, turrets and landing arms.
  • Wheels: build rovers with suspension and steering to cross the planets.
  • Logic: switches, buttons, timers, sensors, memory and logic gates to automate your creations.
  • Symmetry, copy / paste, blueprints: save your best ships and rebuild them anywhere.

Every block has a mass. Thrusters push where they point, the center of mass matters and gravity is real — a well-balanced ship flies straight, a badly-built one tumbles. Flight assistance, a full stop key, an autopilot and a hyperdrive jump help you cross the system.

  • Procedural solar systems: every world seed creates new planets, moons and asteroid belts — mountains, canyons, craters, snowy peaks and alien forests.
  • Fully diggable terrain: drill into the ground for iron, silicon, nickel, ice, cobalt, silver, gold, platinum and uranium.
  • Mine, refine, trade: fill your cargo, refine ore, sell it at trading posts and take contracts from NPCs.
  • Dock at orbital stations, refuel, and plan your trips on the 3D system map.

Blocks break on impact, ships split into wrecks, and parachutes save the day (sometimes). Watch your oxygen, your health and your fuel — then repair, salvage and try again. Your backpack stays where you died, so go get it back.

  • Co-op multiplayer: host a game for your friends or join one from the Steam server browser.
  • Dedicated servers (Windows and Linux) with admin tools, bans and server settings.
  • Private teams and permissions: decide who can pilot or build on each of your ships, rovers and stations.
  • Player stations: anchor a base in space or on the ground and make it your home and respawn point.
  • Customize your astronaut, emotes included.

Someone wants what you built. PvP is optional and set by each server, with safe zones around trading posts.

Shield generators absorb the first hits, heavy armor holds the line, and automatic defense turrets fire on anything hostile. Threat sensors, jammers and decoys keep the enemy guessing.

Light and heavy lasers, pilot-controlled laser turrets, a railgun that charges up and pierces through armor, and guided missiles with target lock. Everything runs on energy — no ammo to farm, just power to manage.

Go on foot with a laser pistol or rifle, cut through enemy ships and hack their control core to steal them. Destroyed cargo spills part of its loot.

FAIR PLAY BUILT IN

  • New-player protection for the first hours of play.
  • Offline protection: bases of players who are away take reduced damage.
  • Friendly fire off by default, kill feed and a full combat log for admins.

Don't celebrate too early.
